Metro
Metro is a student project done to learn the basics in digital animation, working with different tools in Adobe After Effects such as layering elements in foreground, middle ground and background, as well as movements over time.
While I was studying abroad in Tokyo, Japan, I often took the metro to my university. Back home I could only take the bus or the light rail, so taking the metro everyday changed my view on commuting to school. Traveling underground doesn't give much interesting to see or experience, so this animation focuses on the feeling of endlessness in daily life routines.
Chicken
This short project is a looped animation of a chicken laying eggs using only a simple hand-drawn outline to give it a cartoony look, focusing mostly on the movements.
Norden
This project was partially done in Cinema 4D to get to know 3D modeling, where I created a Nordic landscape playing with different tools to render the water and mountains in combination with lighting. The animation of the typography was later done in After Effects, creating an effect similar to Northern lights that often are associated with Norway.
